Default Nissan Dualis

hi all

My partner and i are both looking at the new Dualis from Nissan Melville. I like everything about it, looks and handling except for the power and my research indicates that yes, it is a bit under powered. It will be the Mrs car, anyway. We have looked at Mitsubishi Outlander and ASX, Hyundai ix35, Honda CRV and also the Forry... For the budget we have, we can get the top of the range (ti) for a good deal, Forry is good but Dualis seems to suit us better + price wise

So if anyone has something they would like to share with me on my opinion on car choice, please let me know. This forum has been alot of help to me, im not a car wizz but slowly learning and trying to contribute... appreciate the opinions of fellow P-Rexers

Cheers

Yas

Thank you BALISTC that is a very good review, one of the best ones i have read. There are a few reviews on youtube too, which were ok.

Thank you for the offer for your mate, but my father in law is buddy's with owner at melville + its a bit closer than Midland for me!

Thanks again BALISTC

I work for Nissan (and also the dealer you are referring to). I agree that the dualis is a little underpowered, but the features and price more than make up for it.

My only word of advice is to order as soon as you can. I am the central stock controller for AHG and TI dualis are generally 2-3 months away depending on colour choice. If you like pm me with the colour you were looking at, and I will check tomorrow morning and let you know what supply there is.

If you need any info of anything, just ask :-)

hi PerthWRP10, i will be going to Melville tomorrow, and we want black
We got told from one of the salesman that there are currently 2 on the boat. We are looking at black, TI and i think FWD as it is 80kg lighter. For an under powered car you could save with the bloody weight!

Any other opinions on the dualis + do you know if nissan will be bringing out the diesel soon?

thank you

Dualis+2 is heavier again.. I'd probably avoid that if you're concerned about weight and lack of power.

No plans at this stage, but Nissan are notorious for dropping things on dealers without notice.

I'll take a look in the morning at black, I'd 100% recommend speaking to Sang Quach in new cars - he'll really look after you. Just let him know I sent you..

If I get a chance this afternoon I'll whip out the work laptop and have a look at that black.

Did you consider the Tiguan? We were in the same "car group" and went for the Tiguan.

Exceptional car - goes like a rocket. Boot is a bit small.
