We got a 6kw job from a women's spark last year for $5k.. Very impressed & happy with it.. They do some good deals on their facebook page and send text msgs of their deals..

Your bills are cheap!!! Ours was circa $450-$500 from memory, now $50-$80 even in winter....

That would be with a rebate. 250 watt panels retail around $450ea. GovCo rebates bring it down substantially and will end as soon as they push the change to legislation through.

We haven't actually got a bill since we had the system installed as it's only been 4 or 5 weeks. In that time it's made 538.9kwh, which I reckon is pretty good. Would love to know what other similar sized systems are getting in this lovely winter weather.

PM me your email and I'll send you some price lists we got from TVS when we were deciding. All companies should be in the same price range as it's a fairly competitive niche in the market. I just want some sort of assurance the company will still be around in 15-25 years time in case of warranty concerns.

When the Tesla home battery pack and similar become available, is it possible to change to this format?
Possible issues are :
With battery pack electricity, mains power points cant be used? Will need significant power point /light switch retro fit?
Contracts may prevent removal of existing pv unit from grid supply?

Can anyone clarify?
