So the new ipad Looks a great deal better. I never got the original though I think I will be getting the new one for sure.

I guess selling second hand older ipads will fall in the ass now.
Be lucky to get $300, I saw on apple site you can get an old ipad1 for $449 now.

I've had it for nearly a year and it has served me well.

Here's a secret. Next year there will be an iPad 3 and it will blow this one away! Better not buy now and just wait till next year.

Telstra have been offering iPad 1's to managed accounts for the cost of the plan (you choose) for 24 months. They are clearly trying to clear stock for this bad boy.

you would be pissed if you paid full price for ipad 1 in the last couple months, but longer than 6 months be ok.

Great chance now to get ipad 1 for cheap.


My self would only probably get a wifi model. Can't justifi another mobile plan just for data but who knows. maybe prepaid one.

But looking forward to new one. I will wait until they are flowing in stock then grab one.

I don't know where everyone is thinking the iPad 1 is cheap? It's only $100 cheaper than before.

I am getting one with 3G. I got a heap of travelling to do in the back end of this year and should be awesome for that.

Also will be much easier to check the live results in between stages at tarmac rallies without weighing the car down too much and waiting for the stupid thing to load on the blackberry of win.
