busselton / margaret river
Hey guys, me and the girlfriend are thinking of going away for a few days to either busselton or margaret river. I've never been so wondering where some of the better places to stay are, things to do etc.
Cheers |

check out that thread. I highly recommend forest rise eco retreats! Went there with the misses. Things to do are surf, drink beer (bootleg brewery is fantastic!!), chocolate factory, surf, check out the caves, bushwalk, surf, drink wine . Heaps to do down there!! |
I have this weird feeling you enjoy surfing :P haha
Cheers for the feedback guys :) |
You have to check out the caves. Go to the non guided ones, they are much better.
They give a torch and a hard hat and send you on your way. I think Giants cave is one of the good non guided ones from memory. Also go to hamelin bay if you can, beautiful beach there (and the surrounding less populated beaches in the area). |

I went down south not last christmas, the christmas before.
We stayed at Hamelin Bay - Camped at the caravan park there, it was cheap and right on the water! From there we spent days driving to Augusta, Margs, Dunsborough, Yellingup, Gracetown, Previlly etc.. There is so much to do. Caves, Wine, Cheese, Chocolate, Breweries. Plus 4wding, site seeing etc! It was a great week!
