Speed Camera inside white van ?
 

Hi Guys,

Just passing by Applecross area, suddenly V1 alarm went off, slowed down a bit, can't see any camera, but I saw a white van parked there. I also saw an operator inside the van busy with his touchscreen LCD stuff.

I did make a U turn and went down to same road. This time is with my iPhone on hand :)

yup they are around now

I thought our laws were that, speed camera's cannot be hidden. Have to be in plain view?

i passed that van on the way home and i was like wtf so i did a uturn as well cheeky lil feckers

Yep - all the rules being thrown out the window for revenue.

If that were me I'd go park behind the van, lock up my car and walk away before the operator had a chance to get out.

Can't get done for obstructing a speed camera if it's hidden right?

Got 1.5km warning (twice) with one of these on the freeway

I've seen this a lot in the UK, but thats the 1st time i've heard of it here... i'll see if i can dig out the pic of a camera hidden inside the back of a horse-float in the UK. Was epic.
