Yeah its an LS1... but I would suspect it being very front heavy.

Why?

LS1 is probably a similar weight to a EJ20 (both would be around 200kg iirc - Assuming this isn't some weird cast iron LS1 variant :p).

Balancing of the weight distribution might be slightly out though.

couldn't even get the top of the grill to follow the contour of the bonnet - its not like its a weird shape or angle.......poor bodywork job.

Correct. A LS is about 186kg vs an EJ which is about the same. And no need for cooler, turbo etc etc. Gearbox would probabaly weigh more, though a 6 speed isnt exactly annorexic.

As for distrubtion - look at it. Motor is no more forward than a stock WRX, and because it isnt as wide, it would actually be pretty good.

The LS1 would help it rip a mean skid as well :)

Yup, but it is also sitting a lot higher than a EJ20 giving a higher CoG... That's mainly what I'd be concerned about.

However, burnouts would quickly fix that :D
