Yeah its an LS1... but I would suspect it being very front heavy.

Why?

LS1 is probably a similar weight to a EJ20 (both would be around 200kg iirc - Assuming this isn't some weird cast iron LS1 variant ).

Balancing of the weight distribution might be slightly out though.

couldn't even get the top of the grill to follow the contour of the bonnet - its not like its a weird shape or angle.......poor bodywork job.

Correct. A LS is about 186kg vs an EJ which is about the same. And no need for cooler, turbo etc etc. Gearbox would probabaly weigh more, though a 6 speed isnt exactly annorexic.

As for distrubtion - look at it. Motor is no more forward than a stock WRX, and because it isnt as wide, it would actually be pretty good.

Yup, but it is also sitting a lot higher than a EJ20 giving a higher CoG... That's mainly what I'd be concerned about.

However, burnouts would quickly fix that
