UNSPRUNG WEIGHT

Just a few facts:
- Removing 1KG of unsprung weight is (approximately) equal to removing 5KG from a vehicles curb weight.
- Removing 2KG of unsprung weight is (approximately) equal to adding 0.22HP

Now the HP one is not that impressive to look at, however the weight ratio is.
Because when you reverse it and add 5KG of every 1KG added to unsprung weight...

Original wheels with tyres = approx 17kg each

Chrome 20" wheels & tyres = approx 25kg each

32kg extra un-sprung weight = about 128kg or a really large passenger or 2 not so small women

I think that is a fair assumption. I can't imagine this thing braking in an emergency... or taking a corner without pealing the tyre from the rim
