Since it became my opinion that they are. I struggle to get my current wheels to fit without scrubbing.

width and offset would be a bigger issue than diameter

I got some pro drive 18's off gumtree last weekend, they fit my gc8 perfectly, no where near scrubbing

I'm also running GD control arms too so that pushes the wheels out further than on a normal gc.

I have noticed that 05-07 STi's are sort of sitting in that crack-pipe price area that the Version 6 STi's were 2 years ago. I would make it work to get one sooner rather than later if the prices were more reasonable of their age, but theres some who still think they are going to get upwards of 36k for these cars.. I have even seen the WRX's tuned by STi are asking 30-32k for 5 speeds with some factory suspension work.. I dont think so!
