Workshop Proximity to Public Transport to City

Hi All,

Just wondering which non-dealership Subaru workshop was close to public transport or for that matter public transport friendly? Reason I'm asking is, I will have to take the train/bus to work in the city after dropping the car off for a service.

Thanks.

RMS is no longer in Carlisle. Leigh is in Busselton and David and Basil now work at S Technic. We're now on Albany Hwy Maddington only a short walk to the station. If it's raining or would prefer I can give you a lift to the train and pick you up at the end of the day. We're open from 7.45 in the morning and rarely leave before 6 in the evening. We specialise in Subaru repairs and servicing. 9593 5559.

Doug.

Yeah, the old Maddo is Ok. There's a few bums around sometimes and the Maddington Metro shopping centre has nearly as many tracksuit wearing fat single mums as Rockingham. Every second one has arm in a sling, on crutches or wearing a neckbrace, all on compo!!!!

A peg to put on your nose would be more beneficial than packing nunchucks

Not that I would take business away from Doug, as he would be my repairer of choice, but Jim Hall from Bluestar is a mobile Subaru specialist. Just throwing it out there.. I have had cars serviced by Jim and would recommend!

Also MMS is close to the Alexander Drive bus route to the city. 887/889 from memory

Thanks guys! Looks like STechnic or MMS will be the way to go.

What area are you living? or working?

Jeckle 11-07-2011 08:36 PM

Probably more of an issue getting to the workshop initially, we for me it is, Collie to either is 3 1/2 hrs plus in the mornings (but Busselton is much closer for me)

Nauli is correct with the bus numbers and its surprisingly quick to get into the City via the bus, haven't used Doug, but have seen the workshop and worth the visit, and again its not an issue for transport.
