Hot Water System
 

Hi All

I have a Rheem Stella 180lt hot water system. The system is about 2 years old. When I first turn on the hot water I get a egg smell coming from the water. Its really not that bad but you can smell it. It only happens when I have the hot water on and it goes away after about 1 min.

I am wondering if any of you know what it is and how to fix it. I assume that its not the water thats coming to my house because the cold water doesn't smell.

google is your friend but have you contacted Rheem? It should be under warranty

I have looked at google and there are so many diffenent answers its hard to know what the problem is.

I guess I will just have to call a plumber and see what they think
