Shell V-Power vs Racing Fuel
I know this is basically just an infomercial for V-Power but still pretty interesting.

My next tank is going to be V Power, We shall see how it goes. In saying that, very interesting video.

I wonder if that was V-Power Racing or the normal V-Power.

At the launch, they claimed they could do it... nice to see they tested it, or mocked up a video to show they did...

Fairly sure I read somewhere that V Power in Europe is 100RON with ethanol in it, a little different to the 98 stuff they're selling here but either way good to see another 98 option.
Be keen how this stuff we get here compares to Ultimate 98 and Vortex 98 and hopefully someone will do some independent testing for consumers to see the results.

I have been using V98 for quite a while, to be honest, not much difference, but maybe because my car is standard.
According to fifth gear, they ran a test on U98, V98 and normal 98(I would say equal to Vortex98 here) with three cars:Clio, GTI and STI. The result was: for Clio all the feul are same; For GTI, 172BHP on vortex, 174 on U98, 177 on V98; For STI, 235bhp on vortex, 248 on U98, 249 on V98, and 238flpd on vortex, 248 on U98, 258 on V98. So at least in europe, and on performance cars, Vpower is better.

So far the butt dyno has been registering more low down power since swapping to V-power.

Agreed. My last two tanks have been V Power and noticably more lown end power/torque, resulting in harder acceleration through the gears too.

Im sure years ago the original V power was 100 ron unleaded that could only bought in 20L - 200L drums.
