Something I'd like to share

Hi all,

I came across something on a forum that blew me away. Reading this stuff brought about a deep sadness in me, yet it renewed my faith in humanity.
It's pretty full on and not something you'd expect to see on a forum.

Some links below.

Local bloke/family too. Guess you never really consider things like this until they happen.

I certainly took something from the experience of just reading it, and I thought it would be good to share so others could too.

Moving, and thought provoking.

I 2nd the undertone of some of those posts... If you need help, reach out to someone, anyone.

I won't go into my own personal /csb about my demons, but i've been in some dark places and a phone call to a mate (who fortunately was a police officer and trained to know the signs of someone in trouble) probably saved me and led me to moving to Australia and starting a new life.

That was very moving. Thanks for sharing. I still have a toy Rolls Royce Silver Ghost that my Grandad used to let me play with when we went for visits. He died when I was 10. I'm 26 now and so glad I've got something to remember by.

What a waste of a life.. hate it when a life is taken in this way!

Suicide is the most selfish thing of all time. You cant help but feel so sorry for the ones left behind. Once the grief for this 25 yr old woman dies down she has every right to be pretty pissed off at him and the mess he left behind that she has to sort out.

can't help but think the same mate, i feel sympathy for his wife and kid and everyone else he left behind, but can't help but think suicide is a very selfish and self absorbed thing to do

however... this is only my point of view and i'm pretty level headed and sane, I can't really fathom what frame of mind/sanity level/state of depression/drug psychosis you'd be in to do such a devastatingly stupid thing :(

Your sig is pretty ironic in this thread Brendon! :p

4 days to go and we can all grow a mo (ladies to) and raise some money to one day help people so we dont have to read sad stories on the net.
