Need to get Ipad3 on 16th March
 

New eye-pad3 is getting released next friday and i need to get it the same day (bday present).

What are the chances of getting one without me lining up with a bunch of nerds through the night? Should I try myers or jb hifi?

I know lots of people that got the 2 at harveys at city west with no dramas last year. didn't have to line up for more than an hour either

Personally id order it online as a "gift". They'll gift wrap it etc. You can have a lasered Happy Birthday '_____' for free done online swell. Get it sent straight to their address.

Thinking about getting 1 for the Mrs for work.. but have been told the Galaxy Tab is far better :(

he seems to think online ordering is the way to go but will check with the wife & report back to me on monday, hit me up with a pm if i forget ;)

Purchased the ipad 2 for the misses and own the galaxy tab 10.1.
Misses actually prefers using the galaxy more than the ipad, however the ipad is a lot easier for most people to use.

Only downside with the android tablets is that there aren't as many high definition programs that I can see, the developers need to pick up the slack and start porting more apps to HD.

Edit: misses also prefers the ipad as there are more english <=> mandarin programs available.
