Basically yep - We don't even allow un-managed switches on our network. Everything is Cisco so we can see end-to-end all the way across a national network.

Yeah, I get the no use in an enterprise situation. I guess I was so suprised after using them, that I would consider them more over a wireless setup for a small office. (Say if someone was renting and couldn't run cable)
Who knows, I wouldn't be at the office to check

I assume it's a shared media? Like Wireless, or Telstra cable. So, if you have 4 of these on the same phase or circuit or however they work, there would be a shared 70Mbits between all devices, for arguments sake, rather than 70Mbps for each, like traditional 10/100/1000 Cat5/6 to each PC where each device has the full pipe to itself.
That is another downside, but yet, still better than Wireless, until the new Gigabit Wireless comes out, which it is.

That is pretty epic, the next wireless standard is this, IEEE 802.11ac - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the end - Wifi is only ever going to be effective with a good connection.

There is nothing wrong with wireless, the wireless its was on gets very bad connections/weak signal would drop nearly every time it gets any traffic
Also not keen on buying booster antenna as there are other potential hacker out there trying to steal teh bandwitdh other electronic devices like my the ps3, tv, ipad, iphone, laptops etc all connect via wireless but they're in the house and within <10m.
