Unable to judge car without seeing it with:

- Boat on tow-hitch;
- Rod holders; and
- Eski with power point attachment.

Don't know how you're structured Adz but it may be beneficial to factor this into your equation.
Ford Raptor 150, lots of presence.
I have looked at these and getting one in direct from the US.

Bloody expensive but looks like a shitload of fun

I had Steve from Steve's injector service come around to clean the injectors on my mates car, he came in the new Colorado and with only 400kms it had a oil leak coming from a tight spot in the engine where you can't see at all. Not sure what the go was there but I guess you use the vehicle till or near the warranty runs out than trade in for a new one.
They do look alright and are good value for the money.

The idea is to get something setup sub $50k

I nearly signed the papers on a Amarok on Wed night. They were my first pick! The 2.8% finance going atm as well as the free servicing is a good deal! Whilst I'd love the auto, not keen to join the wait list and the extra price tag for it atm. Shoots it above the budget.

However, saving close to $10k by getting a more powerful Colorado though has swayed my decision back to the Holden. Also includes some free servicing.

I don't like the look of the BT50 at all, so that's out of the question. Same as the Triton.

NOT paying crack price for a basic spec Hilux!

I do like the Ranger, for the money with it specced up.. both the colorado and amarok seem better value.

Marc: Manufactured 2012 and has a payload of over 1 tonne - should be exempt, worse case I'll logbook it.
