Default Car Accident - insurance dispute

Had an accident a few weeks back and despite the guy initially admitting fault, his insurance company are now disputing it. I think I should be fine as I'm pretty sure he was totally at fault but wondered what you guys thought. Basically I was turning right into Lenore Road off Ocean Reef Road & he was waiting on Lenore Road to turn right onto Ocean Reef Road. I indicated, pulled into the turn right only filter lane and went to turn just as he went. He hit my rear panel drivers side with the front of his car. It's a write off. I'm puzzled as to how he can claim I was at fault, but maybe I'm missing something.

Apologies for the amateur night MS Paint job.
- I'm red he's blue

He is completely at fault if your diagram is correct.

You have right of way across the intersection.
That is a prick of a corner though. I have to use that thing just about every day.

He needs to give way, so one would assume he is at fault?

I would think he was trying to get out quickly and misjudged the distance between cars....

But still, he appears to be at fault.

Yeah I think that's what he did. But don't think he even saw me or was looking.

As above, he is completely at fault if your diagram is correct.
Had MANY near misses of people nearly wiping me out at that intersection turning just the way you were (I also use it every day).
Good luck!

If your story & diagram are correct, you are in the clear.

More than likely trying to beat the car coming from the right...

Have seen many near misses at that intersection.

You should be sweet

If they don't cough up, get them back by buying 50k worth of their shares and recoup the money that way
