Also have a look into Gerni. I bought a Gerni on impulse because it was sale (nice little entry level one for $98). Used it about 5-6 times so far and it has been great.

Let your need guide you

It is also sold at Bunnings to.

I've got a commercial grade Karcher that lasted ~10-12 months of daily abuse before it threw an internal seal (need to make sure the hose doesn't sit in the sun and superheat the water as it'll melt the rubbers!). It's since been fixed but sits the garage for the time being (it's too heavy to constantly chuck in and out of the ute).

Have another smaller Karcher thats been used daily for ~6 months now and is starting to show signs that its about to blow (it's getting noisy/rattles)

I had Couplers make up a custom 10m hose with heavy duty fittings. Best thing for them.. it's been run over several times and has lasted well over 2 years. I consider the machines themselves 'throwaways'.

Ideally something with brass fittings and decent seals are the way to go. Karchers are now cheap and with good reason. In saying that.. my machines cop massive amounts of usage and still last for a decent period!

Considering how much you would use yours Adz, anyone elses should probably last decades!

ps: remember everyone, if you want your car to run more efficient/be faster, make sure you high pressure clean your TMIC through the bonnet scoop! This will flush all the bugs and other gunk from the TMIC fins. Thus will allow it to flow better and provide more killerwasps!

I've got a Bosch Aquatak and I love it.. I only chose it over the K'Archer because it matched my other power tools :-P

Anyone know if the Karcher units are on sale at the moment? If so, where?

Bunnings almost always have a sale on for a few of their models.

Else try Direct Trade Supplies in Maddington - Found they were quite a bit cheaper for their bigger units when I bought mine (can walk in and purchase without ABN).

Or bend all the fins......one of the 2.
