Guess I will stop filling my lawnmower up with Ultimate 98. I am sure it cuts the grass better though

Interestingly the price difference between 91 and 98 has practically doubled over time.

No price gouging there ...

Ironically, your sarcasm is probably misdirected. SV6 is one of the few cars that has a sensor in the fuel system and retunes to suit the fuel in the tank, even using E85.
Intra, DAN682, teejay and 10 others like this.

Then you'll also be aware that the computer regulates the tunes to make the power output exactly the same across any of the fuels.....

Gents,

I think the news article is aimed at mum & dad drivers, driving family-suited vehicles.

Even when my car was n/a I decided to start filling it with 98, obviously there were no power gains but it certainly ran better overall with it.

lol wut?

Is this shit true? I've known a lot of idiots that drive Honda Civics and such, pumping 98 ron claiming it gives more mileage and is better for the engine. Seems like gay shit to me...
