Engine Coffee table

Has anyone tried to do this, Ive been offered a Sr20 Block for $50.
Its just a block only sadly but what would be the best way to clean it and mount it
Thanks

If you had 2 of them you could span a glass top between them

Yeah im only able to get one due to the size of my room haha
But would there be a way to easily mount it

Get the block acid dipped and cleaned. Get some bolts the same thread size as block, screw bolts through glass into block.

Yeah Was gonna get it dipped or attempt at doing it by hand or something depending on how dirty it is With the base what would be the best method with the glass i was just going to put some of them rubber pads you use on glass tables

I'd use those but just get clear ones so that it doesn't look shit.
Polish the shit out of the block first. Will be worth it!

That my plan with my old na motor.

Yeah I'll use clear ones... And if it doesn't polish up really well then ill get it dipped.
I would of much rather used a boxer engine as the shape of the block would suit a table much more.
