Default Formula Cross

Haven't heard of them before? Neither had I till an hour ago, but WOW they look like they could be a bit of fun! I figure some of you might like them too.

Formula Cross - Welcome

Would be a fantastic way to race in a purpose built chassis with the safety of the roll cages, race seats ect while still being on the cheaper side of racing things. Can be used on tarmac or gravel as far as I can see. 270-290kgs wet too (depending on motor) so it should get moving pretty quickly.

So this:

Plus one of these:

Equals this:

How do you lean over the side of the bike mid corner when your getting your drift on so you dont flip? Looks cool, not sure how practical it would be to race with though.

From the build kit, gives it wider wheelbase and sway bars...still re uses your stock shocks...no flip, and rollcage to save ya if ya do
Looks like more of a dune buggy racer type thing rather than a track type thing to me

This looks really cool and would certainly be cheaper than racing an STI...

Good find Lachy...has anyone done any serious research into getting one into Perth? Would this sort of vehicle be eligible for all the CAMs L2S events?

First thing i would do is put matt orange wrap all over it and also install a home made bonnet scoop with the skills i acquired in Year 11 Metalwork.
