Relocation of kitchen pipes and establishment of new bathroom pipes etc. So I need gas work also.

The house is floor boards so access can be under the floor.

Bumping the past...

Before I go through the yellow pages, I thought that I might see if there are any plumbers on here that would like to do a couple of small cash paying jobs.

I have a leaking hot side relief valve that requires replacement and would also like to know whether or not I can have a T placed on the cold side inlet to the water tank that would allow me to have a tap for the garden on that side of the house.

All good! :D

Anyone got a clue as to why when I flush my toilet it continues to run water through it? It's constantly pouring water into the bowl, not gushing like a full flush but enough to be a concern, unless you get the sweet spot and flush it it seems to stop.

Anyone had this before? Or know how to fix it/can someone come look at it

Cheers

Sounds to me like the floating assembly in the cistern needs to be looked at or replaced.
Next time it does it, lift the lid off the cistern and pull up the floatation device, should stick out like dogs balls.
It might be getting stuck open, hence why you have water coming through all the time.

Take the lid off the cistern and adjust the float device that controls the water inlet valve. May just be loose or slightly out of position - sitting too low so it wont shut off at normal high level position. It will make sense when you take the lid off and look.

Good luck comrade.
