New Car Ordered - Delivery 2017

Hey All,

I need help choosing a new car, have up to $90k to spend on the right car which gives me plenty of options which makes it harder.

Had my heart set on the CLA45, fell in love with it and Mercedes at a Mercedes drive day at Barbagallo but it's just outside my range so may have to wait for a couple of years unless I can find an awesome deal on finance.......

So here is my dilemma, I don't like the A45, not a fan of hatches plus when I go bush for my job I will be swapping cars with the Mrs and she needs to fit two booster seats in the back so the car really needs to be a four door sedan at the very least.

Throw some options at me!

A few requirements are:
Four Door
No Hatch
Fuel Economy needs to be at or below 12L/100km - So M3 is out
Mention Holden or Ford and I ban you
Needs good resale appeal

I would love another car that can be used for some fun on the track as well. If I can't find that I am happy to substitute performance for luxury for the time being.

Cars I have thought of

A45 (Hatch)
135i (Hatch)
M3
Evoque
Q5
Older Q7
Audi S5
New STi
X5/6
Cayenne

What am I missing.......

Thanks All

I was going to say chrysler 300c srt8, but then you put up a minimun fuel consumption.

Golf R?

Yeh the Golf just doesn't appeal to me. It is also a bit small. Thanks for the reply though!

AMG C63 - thirsty
Lexus ISF
A lot of the Audi range, S4/6/8, RS4
BMW 335i

If it was my money, I would start with the ISF and Audi B8 S4

Ps: The S5 is a coupe

When you say a new car, do you mean NEW off the showroom or just another car?

That kinda money is borderline to a German make, most audi bmw 4 door saloon will be 100k+ and then luxury car tax etc.. so unlucky there. I would have suggested a porsche "SUV" like the macan but still base model is 100k.

Unfortunately, resale on these euro cars tends to be much lower than their retail.

S5 is still 4 door in the hatch :) that hatch is doable lol

No doesn't need to be a new car. Open to all options.
