You can try an alternitive to the western/allopathic view and go see a Homeopath or Naturopath.

Rather than treat the dryskin as the condition in itself, look for the causes to it - its possibly a symptom, not a condition. Look at diet and lifestyle. It could be something as basic as low Vitamin E intake...

As a student, you can probably still get discounted rates at one of the schools for alternative health therapies. I know ACNM used to run regular clinics to train up their students which were monitored by qualified therapists.

You will need a referral or your gp may be able to give you a script for a steroid cream/ointment called Diprozone, which what I was given from when I had it for years and finally cleared up after I started on this.

Ohh my hands have calusces (sp!), my skins dry, i have a pimple...

Even my 100% homosexual mates wouldn't talk about dry skin problems on a car forum..

I might be alone in this but all my dry skin / acne where related to being a TEENAGER! Left life run its course and worry about the things that teenagers SHOULD be thinking about!
