Shipping via US address

I've been looking at this front lip for a bit and because the guys don't ship internationally I've been wondering how to get it here. I've looked around and haven't found anything similar, which seems odd...
I've been in contact with the guys and they will send it to me but for the grand price of $250USD! So all up it'll cost me over $400AUD for an $90ish part
I've got the dimensions from the dude so gonna see if sending within the US then getting it shipped out here makes a difference. I'm curious to know if anyone has experience with this and could provide some words of wisdom. It doesn't seem worth the hassle just for a front lip but everything else I've seen doesn't look that great. AusPost have a service and I've got the weights they require but can't seem to get a proper price and the people at the post office don't know about it so they're no help.

Getting anything air-mailed from the states is gonna cost a packet. You are basically buying a an international plane ticket for your parts and thats why its so expensive.

You could look at a frieght forwarding service. Or a volune importer. Although a $90 lip is probably just gonna be china junk anyway. May aswell buy straight from the source.

I'm sure there's one around, it's just a matter of finding it. HT Autos (i think they're called) nice one but they bought out a new style and it's a bit gross. he won't resell the old one either which sucks. I'll keep hunting.
