deleted camera pics on a lg k500k

I accidentally deleted my camera pics on my LG K500K , how can I retrieve them ?

There must be ways, my computer died and while I was in Thailand I took my 2gig camera card in to see if they could retrieve anything even though I'd recently formatted it, don't know how but he retrieved over 2,000 photo's.
