Well it looks as though this may have done the trick mate! Last night on my way home I saw a bunch of 'technicians' standing around it, and then this morning it wasn't there any more!

I have submitted a letter to local government asking for the copy of the crash testing results of the structure.

I hold great concern on road safety of these stuctures as they may cause a car / truck to deflect back on to the road causing death rather than the restraining fence catching the car

I keep calling them in to main roads as litter and a dangerous debre on the side of the road

Ask them if they are mounted on frangible posts, if not they pose a significant risk in a crash situation and should not be located within the clearzone of the raod without adequate protection (ie guardrail). Guardrail is actually there to deflect errant vehicles back onto the road.
