using nitrous

hey guys, I will be using nitrous when I go to the plex in up coming weeks.
Does anyone know the rules in using it, for example- blow down tubes?
Does the vehicle have to be marked with a n20 sticker on front and rear?
Any help would be great.
Ive done some research but cant find a thing.

cheers all.

I think use a small nitrous shot just to super cool the intake charge... if it was a small one of say 10-20hp you could run it from fairly low revs and have nice very cool intake air.

Its the sole purpose of the 9 nitrous bottles fitted to a Rigoli built red wagon on the east coast... the guys is doing 11.2's with a big top mount by running a small nitrous shot the whole way along.

I will be using 150-200 shot depending on times.

When I enquired about it last year I was told:
"so long as the bottle is secured & the vehicle passes the usual scrutineering there are no additional requirements"

Would be best to call them again to confirm though :)

Yeh wouldn't mind coming down for a look either!

Whats Nitrous cost to setup????

lol 150-200hp shot...... I'd like to see your engine survive on that for more than a week.

The standard motor lasted for over a year with it on. Ive built a motor to handle alot more than what i intend to use.
As long as you have the right controller, there is no problem in using this.
We have spent hours on the dyno down here getting it sweet.
