Breaking into Cars...

Hi Guys,

a slightly challenged (blonde) mate of mine has locked her keys in her '99 Forester and has no spares  . All windows/doors/boot are locked and secure.

Because the 'button' is on the side of the door, the old packing tape trick won't work and a coathanger won't get past the rubber seals.

Has anybody got any break and enter tips? What about the RAC, a Subaru Dealer or even a locksmith?

Cheers

RAC should be able to no probs, failing that smash the window

RAC for sure. may take a little while to get there. no drama with them gettin in tho.

if ya gonna smash a window.. do the windscreen, u should get a free one with ur insurance yeh?? and i think they are the cheapest anyways.. but yes RAC for sure

if u smash the windscreen - firstly it wont just brake into pieces - as it should be anti shatter - and if it does your gonna have glass all through your interior . Probably best to rethink that approach champ.

RAC actually bend the door frame out in order to get a rod down to unlock the car. I saw them do it once to a brand spankers BMW 4wd. Once they had unlocked the car he had to bend the door back to shape so it fit right again... Only talking mm's here but it was weird to watch.. The owner looked a bit p&ssed but then again he did lock his keys in the car....

Question. could a locksmith actually pick the car door lock?

If there's a will, there's a way.

fark off i'd let them do that, better to break a window than have a bent then bent back door frame. (wrx's dont have door frames tho)
