Yep I am a cop and your fine. We pull over heaps of cars to do checks on the driver and the vehicle. You were pulled over because you were the easier one to pull over. The motor bike would have been a nightmare.

Especially as the car was a unmarked car with Detectives. Not all cops are out there to just to give out tickets. In this last 6 months I have given out two and the rest I have given cautions. The two were tools doing the wrong thing, the others were doing the wrong thing and were pleasant when I spoke to them.

As people have said, we are human, we have mortages, kids, bills to pay just like the rest of the population

Yeah, I too have been pulled over for speeding (not excessive) and given a warning. 5 times in the last 5 years or so. Each time I was polite/respectful/friendly. Each time I was given a warning/take it easy and I was on my way (so, like everyone has said - you are fine impreza_GT).

Majority of police (even traffic police) are fine in my experience. Of course, its the bad few who give everyone else a bad name. Darlyn, its always good to see wrx enthusiast police officers on the forums.
