Need some engraving
 

Hey sorry to post this up here but the yellow pages isn't giving me any love.

For my apartment complex I want some no junk mail & local paper signs. You'd think that would be a relatively easy task right... WRONG.

I found one at Bunning’s that is just junk mail so I want to get the paper part engraved. I want it the same font as the other part so apparently I need someone that does laser engraving?

Anyone point me in the right direction? I've call half a dozen or so but no one has one or can recommend anyone.

Just an idea. Get a piece of aluminium or stainless the size you want and take it to a Mr Mint or similar to have it engraved.. Should cost bugger all I'd think...

What he said chris.....measure up the piece you need and i'll cut u a piece of stainless, then just take it to get engraved.

So does the mint guy do them by hand? cuz we have 30 or so that will be sitting next to each other.

I enq about getting them made once & the guy said they would need to make a template which would be cost prohibitive.

I too would be interested in getting some made up for my Apartment complex.

Time to go out and measure the letterbox.....

Yeah the shits out of control at my place... I own the smallest (read cheapest) appartment in the place but seem to be the only one who gives a shit.

It's the fkn local papers that give me the tim tits... who the fk reads that shit anyway? Oh.. the local school is having a cake drive… ahh & there’s a swap meet on, lucky we killed a few trees to get that piece of vital news to the people.

Unless you need to clean a barby they’re a complete waste of time & paper.

Just do yours, when the other tenants see what you have done they'll soon follow suit. You could also spam their letterboxes with a flyer advertising your 'special' custom made 'No Junk or papers' engraved plaques and make a small profit for yourself.. :)

I have the same problem, but I also live next to the brisbane so if the letterboxes are full (usually overflowing) when the drunk idiots wander past after closing they usually decide to decorate beaufort street with every flyer and newspaper they can grab...
