Heck yes!

Alcons FTW but seems a shame to have to lose the Simmons to achieve this.

Alcons x3. Love the groving in the rotors of them over the harrops.

I'll be the one to say this: Dave there are other wheels out there :p

As much as a fan of the simmons that I am, I wouldnt let that hinder the choice of brakes. After what I saw on friday, it (the F6F) needs all the help it can get :)

American Dave 30-09-2009 11:05 AM

parachute will fix this

Anchor out the window, Homer Simpson Monorail styles ;)

alcon also do a smaller rotor version while using the same caliper, 356mm which is just 1m more over the standard size rotor which hopefully means fitment over the wheels wont be an issue.

i have been warned against going to such a large front rotor while leaving the back unchanged, once again a bit more :book1: required.

this side of HRE i don't really like any other wheels so for now, i wont be changing the current ones.

i got more pressing issues right now, need to arrange a new back end as my re-engineered (read modified) one is being used in another car for thursdays track day (i should really learn to say no to favours). the harrop diff is in stock so need that sent over in time for the new x-member aswell as the solid bushes.

i got a bit of time as macey now has the car to finish off the sound system build

Can I borrow the F6?? :D
That system seems bloody loud

WRXRW 30-09-2009 12:13 PM

you get a nice all over body massage in the passenger seat as the aeromotive buzzes away!

the pump sits on genuine msd rubber mounts but i fear the solid connection to the first filter and then again to the surge tank which is bolted to the chassis rail is sending harmonics crazy. need to add a few more here and there to try and stop it.

once again i should of listened to the whole spill about "not for street use" but i fail at hearing what i don't want too!
