Toshiba ftw.... my family have been using them for years with no dramas..

when I bought my new one this year I didnt even bother looking at any other brands... couldnt be happier with the one I got..

I think I got the U100 ? something or rather... it has a blue lid and its pretty and it does everything + more that I need it to do..

fullisikmoite !

Good to see you got it thru the cybershop, those guys are champs.

Ditto as well.

I was looking for a good priced lappy for my wife for her birthday, nothing too fancy but a bit future proof. Ended up going with an ASUS F3F-76M for $1349 with a sweet little tv tuner, optical mouse and carry case, from cybershop during thier end of year sale (along with the rest of perth) Centrino core duo 1.6Ghz, 15.4" WXGA, 100Gb HD, 1Gb DDR2 667 Mhz ram. Cybershops's prices are f'ing SHARP!!! Looked everywhere and for good notebook brands they are the balls. If i had a bit more money then I would have got Tode's machine as that is a real beast for the price as well.
