you could give that a go to atleast see if the file is recoverable... sleek little program. unfortunately they want money before you can actually save any files it finds that are more than a few kb if i remember correctly. there are other [less friendly looking] programs around that will recover the file for free, but this one is good just to check, since it lets you search for your lost file by name once it's low-level scanned the disk.
