Russ spec Maxtrax
 
Was just walking around at work and saw one of these was being chucked out. So i grabbed it and chopped it up into 2 strips 300mm wide. Perfect Russtrax TM. hahaha

True, but the maxtrax do have spikes on the top for grip, this helps more in the mud and its wet than on sand and its dry, traction wise.

I've heard stories about grip in the mud and it doesn't involve motorsport!
