Ok sweet.
Now the bad news. It is $175 for a 77mm ND filter I only have the 55mm ND's for my other lens' |

you can check your histogram by looking at the photo in photoshop. just remember to get rid of the border as it will affect it.
also, if a picture is naturally dark and there's lots of shadows... then the histogram will also be to the left. trying to shift it to the right is silly. |

If you shoot in using raw then you have more flexability to tone down skies etc too as there is more information saved than a jpg (12bit unprocessed vs 8bit camera processed and compressed).
I agree ith methd about cameras blowing highlights in auto, av, tv modes etc. |

Dan get the cokin adaptor for ur lens and get the gnd filter that slots in i think it may be a little cheaper.. see Stu. my friend is ordering same thing off him tomorrow.
