Problem is, you can buy a fairly good house in a reasonable suburb for what he's asking for the car, bit like swapping it for a house in Ballajura or Willetton fully paid up.

Ask Tommo, he's got some, when I was in Thailand a few months ago they were advertising 5 for $200,000 US, Google it, people are just walking out on houses and investment homes they paid say 200k for and the banks don't want them either so there are agencies who are buying from the banks and selling them to overseas buyers because the US economy is so shit and nobody there can afford them.
