V5 has the same bumper as V6. Let's not forget its a rally car and has more than likely been put into a number of trees & replaced with whatever they could find

Ver 1-3 front bumper, ver 6 grille, ver 6 crystal headlights, probably ver 4/5 type r chassis, whats your fucking point? no one even mentioned the spoiler. the cars a bitsa. It would have started life as a Type R chassis or maybe even a MY95 GC3/GM3 coupe. As far as I know bodyparts are not homologated for MY00 and below so its undoubtedly been knocked about and had bits replaced.

It's a version 5. Has factory R180 diff and had factory DCCD and 8 bolt gearbox. That has since been replaced with a 20KG VCD. The front bumper is the only non original part. It was owned and driven by Michael Thompson in Canberra (Dell computers rally team) I think it was built by PBMS. Then sold minus all the good gear to a well known Perth rally driver known only as "Chuck" where it gradually deteriorated to an autocross bunky. The current owner has done a fantastic job of bringing it back to a respectable state. last time I saw it previous, it had more roofing teks and bits of wire/wood than a Bunnings.
