Few more from the Windfarm Hill Climb.
Not many good places to get pictures, atleast the weather was nice.

Interesting choice of tyres for the blue wrx.

It's a great event. Car wasn't really ready for it this year so I gave it a miss.

Worth getting down to if you can get there though because they have some great cars there.

Couple of shots from last year.

Looks tough, goes even tougher!
Dick Ward's monster FIAT 500 Arbarth

Have a look at the rear wheel in the second pic as it gets off the line:

Did anyone see Ward's crash?
Apparently after his first run at the wind farm on Monday he hit an embankment after the finish line at high speed.

Still won his class & <edit> fourth outright, but the little Fiat is in a sorry state.

I was first on scene as I was the next car up the hill. There is no vid of him hitting anything as trees etc get in the way. I have seen a vid on photobucket of him crossing the finish line then disappearing.

For the record he did win his class, but came 4th outright. Tony Flood came 2nd outright.

Little Fiat isn't in as bad a state as first thought and is going to be rebuilt!
