F430 Scuderia and 997 GT2 debut in Perth
 

Was out at Wanners today "working", another trackday held for Barbagallo customers.

First outing for the brand new F430 Scuderia and 997 GT2, both less than 1000km on the clock.

Whats with the hole in the grill on the Scuderia's grill? Is that for screwing in a tow point? Kind of ruins the front a bit for me, looks like a stone went through it.

Yeah, the normal F430 has it aswell but its not as visible due to the different shape of the bumper.

Yes the boys hit the track yesterday, and that F430 saw it in person and met the owner too while the boys getting the tyres ready for the day what a beast, LEGGERA always at BARBAGALLOS or in the shed getting dust love sounds HOT.

How come the Scud has QLD plates, is it only here for the track day?

Cheaper stamp duty in Queensland too...

Privately owned Perth car, but you pay less stamp duty in QLD hence alot of people register expensive cars there.

Yeah the noise is just something else, orgasmic!

Holler - I wasn't a huge fan of the gold wheels, standard titanium ones would suit it better. Love the new more aggressive body work and it sounds alot meaner than a normal F430. Interior wise I prefer the Superleggera over it, the Lambo seats shit on the Ferrari ones. All a matter of optioning the car how you like it though, so thats all "fixable".

On the track it seemed the quickest car there though, even the V12 599GTB couldn't stay with it on the straights let alone corners.

this is what I enjoy about working on the terrace. Altho it's a rare event, when a Ferrari or Lambo or something similar gives it a bit of sting between the traffic lights, surrounded by buildings.. it is a noise that makes even the best of us turn our heads and say "woah fuck"

Insane. Good to read what you thought from your perspective too of the 430 Scuderia in contrast to the others. Nice to see it was lapping the fastest in comparison to the others too, would have been a mad day haha.

i wouldn't hold TOO much value in the 'who looked quickest' on a day like that. Private owners with varying degrees of track experience and varying sizes of gonads/wallets will determine how hard they punt their multi hundred thousand dollar cars around....

Still the scud would be farkin quick and the sound would be awesome.

Seeing and hearing 2 lambo's and a ferrari lapping 5th Ave and Time Square in formation in NYC made my nipples get hard... :D

I have seen that lambo with plates "go dad go" parked next to another car at the casino with plates "go mum go." LOVE IT!

Did u get any pics of the convertiable red 360? My cousin was there driving it. How did he go on the track??

Yeah remember seeing it Tino, sadly didn't take any photos of it - try to concentrate on the cars I haven't seen before.

Tell him I'm happy to take some photos anytime though. :)

Ill let him know, he may be interested in getting some glamour shots, as would I.
