Default Audio Shop photography

A good friend of mine is about to open a new Audio shop in Perth, selling all the usual home theatre setups/speakers and custom made cabinets for that purpose.

He's organised a 1 page ad in the Scoop magazine and asked me to take some photos (3 - 4 photos) as he's seen and liked my work thus far. Question for the gurus...

The photos will be taken in low light condition and I'm planning on using the tripod, can you give me some ideas of how to approach it, what sort of photos to take and finally what kind of lenses to use?? (i do have an access to a fair amount of gear for this job).

I do have a rough idea what i want to do but your ideas would be welcomed.

Not sure if you have done the shoot yet but anyhow...

A full frame body with a 16-35 or 17-40 would be ideal. Otherwise a 10-22 on a crop body if thats what you have. More light = cleaner crisper photos. See if you can use a mix of natural light and artificial light. Halogen down lights always look nice so if they have switch them on.

Try not to shoot everything straight on, angles look nicer and make the place look bigger. Shoot portrait and landscape shots, take lots of close ups as well as wides, you want a variety of things to choose from. Make sure you tripod can shoot from eye level not lower down, it makes the rooms feel bigger. Thats all I got.

somthing wide for sure time exposure that way you can take in the light and atmosphere from the shop.

maybe if need be some remote flash to light up certain points of interest in the room in each shot.
