Wanting to get some insight from the photographers out there regarding past experiences relating camera/lighting setup, lens selection, location etc

If you have a Canon SLR body or are getting one (and have a good budget) then the 70-200mm f2.8 L series lens is perfect for static or moving shots. Awesome lens.

Or the 100-400mm L series lens thats also available on this forum at the moment, yes its heavy, but it takes great photos. (And PS Elements 10 also helps) but the information has to be there first.
