Can anybody tell me the difference between a 5D, MKII, MKIII
Hi All,
Can anybody tell me if there are any cons on buying a low <6000 Shutter Count 5D, not a MKII, or III Just a 5D? Cheers |
Dan, no MkIII for the 5D yet....but plenty of rumours about it coming out 'soon'.....but its been coming out for quite a while now :)
I guess main features between the 5D (classic) and 5DMk2 are improved sensor/noise handling and HD Video on the Mk2. Higher MP/image size on the Mk2 but thats not really an issue as I'm sure the quality of the 5D classic is still fine....so if you are not fussed about video I would say no serious cons on a 5D if you are getting it for a good price! I guess buying a 5D classic now is getting a little bit dated, but full frame (which they both are) is a great step up. I havent used a 5D classic but I absolutely LOVE my 5DMk2! What prices are you looking at on the s/hand stuff. Feel free to PM me if you cant be arsed posting in the thread. Karl. |
Cheers Karl.
I can get it for less than $300, which I think is a fairly OK deal for the shutter count. |
Fuck yes! I wouldn't hesitate at that price!
|
If you don't get it, I'll take it! :P
I could use a second body for some wedding work. |
i'd give you $500 for it.. got rid of my last DSLR and now have nothing.. massive regret!
|
haha, I was going to seagull it too. Fuckers :)
|
I'll give you $501 for it!!!
|
I just researched this also before buying my 5D Mk2, and another feature the 5D (classic) doesn't have is Live View if I remember correctly - something I use a fair bit.
But at that price you shouldn't hesitate, as mentioned! |
I was too fucking slow!!!!!! Dammit!
Thanks anyway all, back to saving for a new(ish) 5D MKII |
