Default Cheap Projector Setup

Hey guys,

I have done some looking into a China spec projector setup for casual use.

I wont be needing it for anything serious, maybe the odd Halo night or outdoor camping/backyard setup.

I purchased a EUG-x760, 3800 Lumen, 180W LED, 1200x800 projector off eBay for $300 inc postage.

Built a poly pipe projector screen for around $100 for the lot.
(made it out of PVC so it can be portable)

Good quality image for a $300 projector, really happy with the product. recomended for anyone looking for a cheap projector.

Packs down to a few pipes that can be wrapped up and stored in the shed.

Works a treat so I thought I would share the project with everyone

If I get enough interest I will go into detail about the construction of the screen.

I have had the projector set up in my back yard a few times. We have palm trees around our fence, they make the perfect uprights for stringing a lycra screen between. That projector is like twice as bright as my old girl, and cost about a 1/3 of the price. My projector is pretty old now, but still works a charm.

Yeah was surprised when I first saw the price of a HD projector at that brightness, but if yours served the purpose then I should have a great time with mine. I think that now they are LED they will plummet in price just like the LED TV's have
