FPV drifting? check this out....
So by now most of us have an idea of what First person View (FPV) is in an R/c model sense......If not, well these systems allow you to fly your r/c model out of the usual line of sight by utilizing a system which incorporates GPS, altitude & a camera in the cockpit of the model, the audio/video is transmitted to a head set that incorporates 2 monitors & audio- essentially placing you into the pilot's seat...
Well I've just put this together for those of us into R/c cars & drifting: [YT]_PHxki-a-Ow[/YT] It allows you to drive your r/c car using a proper wheel & pedals, add to this a car mounted camera, transmitter & a pair of Fatshark FPV goggles - Now you can actually drive your tracks in first person -- Cool huh? |
not into rc cars but thats pretty god damn cool
|
That's awesome rossco, what's the pricing like? Pm or MSG me on Facebook if u like.

The wheel, pedals & interface are around $150 USd + shipping.
(The wheel & pedals can also be used with a Pc or a PS3 - it has force feedback too!) The fatshark FPV video gear is listed on our site: Here |

Get yourself a copy of Realflight Russ, It will save you $1000's! Thanks for the transfer too btw! :icon_thum |
I just bought the hobby king simulator. Is it any good? Costs $40 so a bit cheaper than realflight.
