EVO 9 Tarmac Rally Car
Sold to a local Rockstar
Fresh full bare shell build completed to an extremely high standard. Extensive brand new parts used, never been rallied, less than 1500km since built, only used in 5 local club motorsport events but has proven to be very fast car with great results. To build a car to this standard would be in excess of $100k Specs: Cro-mo “Custom Cages UK” welded in cage done by Brad Stacey CAMS Log Book (2012) WA Race/Rally Rego Motec AP 6 Spots MCA Gold Series coilovers RS rear diff & 5 speed Titanium exhaust Racepac dash Sill stands E-85 17x9 rims Extensive Carbon parts Heated front screen The car has a brand new built 2 litre forged motor using Cosworth parts producing 400hp at the hubs and with less than 1500kms. The motor is showing very early signs of metal contamination and will need to be pulled apart, cleaned out and re-assembled. The pan is currently off and a full inspection can be done. The car was running perfectly before this was discovered. I paid over $60k for this car 3 months ago and it probably owes me close to $70k after getting it up to the current competition set-up. The car is priced at Sold for a quick no-fuss sale as I have lost interest in it. If not sold by Monday 29th April I'll give the workshop the go-ahead to re-build the motor and then decide what I’m going to do with it after that. That is a bargain Jamie. This is one of the best IX's i have ever seen.
Worst case a brand new crate motor including turbo / manifold etc from mitsubishi is between $8 and $9k. Brendon |

Brendon
If it doesnt sell there's a few options Im considering its either the crate motor or the workshop is confident it just needs to be pulled apart cleaned out polish the crank and its good to go with all the cosworth internals for less than half the cost of a crate motor The other option is there is a complete 2.3 stroker available locally thats done very little work and can be had for 5k Btw awesome result at targa tas despite the 20min missed control penalty |
If any wants to look up results i have done in this car check out rounds 3 and 4 mcrae rallysprint series and round 1 rac sprint series also i think Dean the previous owner had done a 53 around short track barbagello
