Im toying with the idea at the moment of selling the RS.

So here it is:

Thumbs up points:
The car drives great, ride is firm but not back breaking harsh, I have done multiple long drives with it in comfort.
Has great turn in and is very predictable in what it will do.
After the coil pack issues at rallysprint the car got the green light from ASG after a dyno check, cylinder pressures came back even across the 4.
Not too loud but sounds good
Doesn’t attract any attention
No pull either way under heavy acceleration.


The thumbs down points:
Body is in alright condition for a 20yr old car:
Boot has started to fade
Clear coat on the left hand side door handles has come off
Rear bumper could do with a respray as it has bubbles in the paint
Windscreen seal inst even across the join with the roof
Steering wheel has a slight split in the top level fabric
Vinyl on the roof has seen better days


What I have done to it:
Remounted the battery in the boot to inside a battery box
Installed a 2.7 STi steering rack with braided lines
Changed the dash lights to LED’s now lights up blue but you can revert it if you want
Serviced it regularly ~4,000 km or before a rally sprint / track day.

The car has been raced, I have done multiple skid pan /rally sprint/tuning day/ track days with it and has only really annoyed me once on the track (coil pack issues). In all my starts I haven’t side stepped the clutch, always tended to slide it a bit. I have only clipped the bollards a few times in which no damage was caused. The car with me being cautious has done a 61 flat around Barbagallo short track, I think a 59 is possible, ask TJ hell say a 58


Price:
$5,500 – With 02 wrx rims and tyres that I have out the back (will get brand when Im home)
$7,000 – With current rims (lightweight), AD08’s and VF29 turbo (good condition)

Also have a bunch of spare leads, coil packs, silicone intake if you want that too.

Car will easily do a high 58 as is. I did a 59.9 with shit road tyres and surge through the l hander up the hill.

Never know might not move till Dec. Still very much EOI at the moment but i'm not in any rush

I'm Bumping this up as it looks like I'll be going down another path.

Car now needs new pads front and rear so prices are ONO within reason.
