FS. Highly modified Auto trans, High stall, shiftkit *going overseas*

Highly modified 4.44 Auto trans

- 2700 High stall for 4100rpm full boost stand-still launches (my car for example up to 15psi stand-still launches)
- Shift kitted. extremely firm shifts (270-300psi line pressures!), but very daily driveable.
- Great drag and track box for a project car or for someone with a street auto that wants a heap more out of their auto.
- Built by the experienced Baileys Automatics in Perth, and they have checked over the box before sale.
- Front planetary modification
- Reverse Clutch modification
- Rear hubb torrington modification
- Thicker Flex Plate
- Replaced Valve Body Pump & Gaskets
- Always run on top quality auto trans oils and a transmission oil cooler
- Always monitored via transmission oil temperature probe and oil pressure sender gauge (both dash mounted)
- Out of the car and ready to go

EDITED: Ok, i've been getting a few questions along these lines so here is some more information.

Comes with.

- Modified 1995 Subaru Legacy 4.44 Automatic Tranmission (dah!)
- Automatic Transmission Control Unit (TCU) - Computer
- Automatic Wiring harness (gearbox side)
- Automatic Gearbox Cross Member, will likely suit Impreza
- Automatic 4-speed, Neutral, Reverse, Park Shifter suit any Subaru
- 1995 Subaru Legacy Speedo Sensor, same 99/00 WRX - would need to confirm newer models
- Automatic Brake Pedal (entire pedal box is not required, simply the clutch pedal, clutch lines and clutch cylinders can be removed and the brake pedal swapped for the automatic pedal - could even leave the manual pedal!)
- K-typer thermcouple fittin in Trans Auto sump for temperature monitoring

Will Need.

- Automatic Wiring Harness (TCU side)
- Automatic Dash console Required if you want the lights on the dash indicating gear selection (P, N, D, etc), alternatively a custom lighting system would not be hard to rig up or you simply get used to which gear its in after looking down at the shifter to get used to position. Quite easy to get used to and I used to rarely glance at my dash cluster lighting.
- Your car must have a 4.44 rear diff (see can supply)
- You will need an Automatic Tailshaft (see can supply)

Will Need to do, to install.

- Install Automatic Wiring harness from gearbox plug to TCU positioned under the dash and splices into the factory manual ECU's harness
- Factory Manual ECU assuming the same as 1995 Legacy can have a wire that would currently be earthed, snipped to identify to the ECU that it is now running as an Auto. If not, may need an automatic ECU - but most people will be running Aftermarket computers so no worries.
- Install Physical Components - Gearbox, Gearbox Cross Member, Starter Motor, Tailshaft, Diff
- Any competent Auto Electritian should be able to compare a manual and auto wiring diagram and get this up and running.

Can Supply.

- 2002 Subaru Legacy B4 Auto Starter motor, will suit Impreza but slightly different design
- 4.44 1995 Subaru Legacy VLSD Rear Diff (pending availability and inspection)
- 1995 Subaru Legacy Gen 2 Automatic Tailshaft (may not fit Impreza, suggest sourcing an Automatic tailshaft for your specific model)

Hopefully I haven't missed anything, I can't guarantee's my information but it should be quite accurate after just having done the reverse swap. I'll add to/fix anything on the list as I think of it.

The gearbox is now collecting dust in my shed and its a pitty, because it was damn fun to drive, very tourqey and someones going to have a fair bit of fun with this.

END EDIT

this box is going to waste doing nothing, serious bargain for someone wanting to upgrade their auto.
