i have traded my MY08

hooks up to your betty via OBDII port under the dash and allows you to reflash with pre-defined maps. this made a massive difference to my car in performance and economy. you can unlock this from your betty yourself returning it to stock if you need to take the car into subaru for any reason.

has a bunch of tunes for MY08 MY09:
i only ever used the highest boost leanest for 98 RON which gave me a very nice boost in performance ~20kW from stock

i hooked this up to my mate 09 sedan and it made a massive difference.

valet mode: doesnt let it go over 3k RPM or sumshit (never used)
economy mode: dont know (never used)

this has been used 3 times and is like brand new. you can get extra maps if you have other mods TBE etc, they cost ~$250 and are all done by chiptorque in NSW

Concerning your pricing, be aware that a full, local, custom dyno tune with dyno plots of your car is less than $1000.

i guess the benefit of this is you can flash back to stock, eco or valet mode whenever you want.

they are $1050 new and its like new.
