Default Blouch TD05-18G-XT-8cm.

Forsale is a Blouch Performance Turbos TD05-18G-XT-8cm. Billet compressor wheel, ceramic coated turbine housing. Made over 240kw@w on my SG XT. Has zero shaft play. Bought new back in april 2012. Done only approximately 20,000km. Will come supplied with BRAND NEW Blouch wastegate actuator. Only selling as I went with a little bit bigger Blouch turbo. Its a great turbo. Has a very punchy midrange and still makes decent power up top too.

Cleaned and ready for action. Its so fresh that the comp wheel still has the original texta markings from when it was balanced at the Blouch factory. The only thing to note is the oil drain has a very minor dent on its outlet as seen in the last photo. This happened on the original shipping to me from the USA, and does not cause any leaks etc. As you can see, I will include a brand new genuine Blouch wastegate actuator. It is the standard pressure actuator. The original actuator was the optioned higher pressure actuator, and I am keeping that for the new Turbo. They mount up the same.

The 18G hot side would make this fairly compatible with a 2.0L for "streetable" performance would you say?

i guess it depends on your definition of streetable? If its a daily driver it might bug you a bit by being just a bit too big. if its a weekend toy, then i reckon it would be very good fun.

On my 2.5L it made 327hp / 518 nm and was on song at 3600. Would maybe be up into the low-mid 4k Rpms on a 2L by the time it got spinning, but awesome fun after that?

this is my dyno graph. as you can see it hits bloody hard when it spools. Torque comes on like a like switch and it makes awesome power through the midrange, and that makes it a very punchy drive. (it has EPIC torque too). And its not really falling off up top to bad either. But it just doesnt quite have enough peak for me. I want something with a slightly more progressive delivery and larger flow. Hence the new turbo.

The '18G' is the compressor wheel not the hot side which is a TD05 turbine.

A TD05 turbine with a 7cm hotside should be easily making 1 bar by 4k rpm on a 2.0.

Bare in mind that the early WRX's came with a TD05 as stock fitment (the one with the 90 degree snout).

My Td05-20G with a back cut turbine wheel makes 1 bar by 4K - mind you I have cams & E85 etc.

(Mine being back cut would make it laggy on a stock 2L).

This is my back cut TD05 Turbine for comparison:
